AnsMed Leaders Join National Caregiving Curriculum Development Initiative

AnsMed Strengthens Industry Leadership Through Role in National Caregiving Curriculum Development
As Ghana takes bold steps to formalize and professionalize the caregiving sector, key leaders from AnsMed Home Care Ltd have played an instrumental role in shaping the country’s first national curriculum in professional caregiving.
Prince Assandoh-Mensah, Managing Director of AnsMed, and Susan Amoako Agyemang, General Manager, were among a select group of national experts invited to collaborate with the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) to develop the curriculum framework and content.
This achievement further strengthens AnsMed’s reputation as a trailblazer in home care and caregiver training, and deepens its influence in shaping the future of aged and home-based care services in Ghana.
Positioning AnsMed at the Forefront of Caregiver Education

The 4 month initiative focused on designing a comprehensive competency-based training structure across key certification levels. AnsMed’s participation means the company’s voice—grounded in real, everyday caregiving experience—was part of the national conversation about what caregivers truly need to succeed.
“Our participation wasn’t just an honour—it was a responsibility,” said Prince Assandoh-Mensah.
“We represented thousands of caregivers across Ghana who deserve structured training, career growth, and respect for the critical work they do.”

With its own AnsMed Training Institute, the organization has already trained hundreds of professional caregivers since its inception. Contributing to the national curriculum enhances the institute’s credibility and ensures alignment with upcoming qualification frameworks.
“This is a win for the caregivers we train, and for our clients who rely on skilled, confident professionals,” said Susan Amoako Agyemang.
“We are proud that our practical, high-impact approach to caregiving education is now helping to inform wider standards.”
As the caregiving sector becomes more structured, AnsMed is set to remain ahead—shaping policies, setting benchmarks, and nurturing future professionals.
